Some changes have been made to the rules based on how Frame 1 played out.
* Pilots have a single life in each hour. (This was always the case in this FSO, but now it's clearly stated and not just implied.)
* Hour 2 will have a single target.
* The P-38G now has no minimum.
* Minimums for the P-40N, A6M3 and Ki-43 do not apply in Hour 2
* Minimums for Bombers and Solo attackers is reduced to 10 bomber trios or 12 solo attackers for Hour 2.
* Allied pilots from mid-grade fighters can move into bomber/solo attacker planes in Hour 2 to supplement lost players.
* Allied pilots in a mid-grade fighter may not switch to other mid-grade fighters for Hour 2.
* Axis Pilots must use their Hour 1 plane in Hour 2.
* The B-24J pairing is no longer eligible for use. All others may be used.
