September 2023 FSO: Reduction of Rabaul - Frame 3 Objectives Sent

Frame 2 Objectives have been sent. Check your Email to ensure you received them. CiC's, please have orders out by Wednesday, September 20th.
I'm sending out the Frame 3 objectives early due to the chance Hurricane Lee knocks out my power/internet this weekend. Not likely, but still possible.


Allied CiC:  162ndFG"Purple*Hearts"
Axis CiC:  9 GIAP RKKA

The Claim Jumpers have been removed from this event for multiple no-shows.
LCA has been moved to the Allies for Frame 3 as their replacement. Thanks OldDoom <S>


Due to low overall attendance, some more changes have been made to the event for Frame 3

*Each hour will have a single objective.
*Minimum number of attack aircraft / bombers is now 12 for each hour.
*Ki-61 Max reduced to 24.
*A6M3 and Ki-43 have had their minimums removed.

I think these changes are a move in the right direction. The reduction in bomber quantity would have most likely change my choice for the bombers I would have chosen.

I'm curious why the axis has just as many people as the allies leaving after hour one.

It tells me that success or failure in the first hour matters little to a significant portion of the player base. It was my hope that having a complete mission in Hour 2 would entice them to stay. I was wrong.

Reminder to all players, the Alt Cap for fighters is 16K.

I've received a few reports of players exceeding that level.

I understand that accident's happen while patrolling, but you need to be careful. Any instance of players attacking directly from over the cap or gaining a speed advantage before attacking by starting above the cap and diving beneath it, will earn a penalty.
