watched a new film for me... The name of this movie is Black Sheep Squadron. Had some VERY VERY cool shots of P38s' and F4u's! Many more shots of different planes and I strongly recommend any of you to watch this film!

I remember a young Peter Frampton playing the role of the lookout/spy/coast watcher on one of the islands in that show. I thought it started out as "Baa Baa Black Sheep" but maybe that's what my dad called it.
This probably the only forum I could mention Peter Frampton without having to explain who I'm talking about. Well this and the AARP forums down the street.

It was originally named "Baa Baa Black Sheep" the producers changed the name to "Black Sheep Squadron" as they felt "Baa Baa Black Sheep" sounded like a kids show. Frampton was on the final episode of the show, iirc it was a two parter. He was brought on in hopes of increasing the ratings. At that time he was hugely popular.

Saw him at solider field in 1977, Chicago super bowl of rock, many high caliber bands played that day. Killer concert. He was touring this album
