Really cool BTS pictures for one of the prop makers. Here is some of the BF109 in episode #5.

Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

Very cool. I wonder what the max height a pilot could be for the 109? It looks like my knees would be in the way of vital controls and such.

I've read many books written by world war II pilots and I recall more then once reading German pilot comments about how "the fat one" couldn't fit in a 109.

Looks right form sure. I’m a svelte 185 and it looks tight for me.

I'm about the same and I've been flying two different real size cockpit 109G sims. It is tight but doable. Some LW pilots in their memoirs told they liked the feeling of "like a hand in glove". Total opposite to for example P-47, where pilot could go jogging during long flits and dodge bullets by running a circle.

That is cool, getting to see the various models made.  Thanks for posting!
