Everyone puts their own price on their life.

Some years back a teen stole a lawn chair from a home and died for it. No charges. The home had been robbed many times before. It was dark and the teen had something in his hands. He was on private property. He thought it was worth his life to get that chair.

Small batteries you can put them in a safe area. Large batteries get a little harder to section off.

Don't recall a day a cell phone had to be recharged 4 to 5 times a day...

I have had either a beeper or a cell phone since they were available..starting with a Motorola bag cell phone in 94..

If you still want to use them, taking them apart and replacing the battery isnt that hard. If not, set it on the ground and drop a cinder block on it

That depends on the device.  Cell phone, ok doesn't see that much abuse.  EV that can see everything mother nature has instore + road abuse?  ummm, no thanks.

So far the resale value of EV's has been pretty dismal. I tend to agree with a you tube mechanic who says the full EV's with the battery box under the car is going to be very susceptible to corrosion in a Nothern climate where salt is common on the road. Once the battery box is compromised the individual cells in the battery are likely to go bad fairly quickly probably leading to a fire. I am not interested at all in having any EV be it a scooter or car, in or near my garage.

I just read the other day that well over half the current EV owners say they will not buy another EV. Their next vehicle will be gas. It went on to give the reasons they had.

A friend has a EV they are proud of,…even after they told me they went from Chitcago to west coast…having to stop every  2.5- 3.5 hrs to change ge for an hr b fore hitting the road again. IF you could find a charging station. Any e who diesn't know ,.. its a 3-4 day trip on 8-10 hrs of driving. That means they were robbed of 3 hrs per day on turning wheels, which ensured a 4 day trip.

After all that they still. Claim its a great buy. <blank stare>
