I like to snark, but sometimes it's just not my circus, not my monkey.
I enjoy Skyr's vids and streams. I've learned a lot. Some I can learn, some is just un-Godly good aim. I could see why some would accuse him of cheating, but you can tell from the vid he is not. But it is unnerving. Even from the safety of my office I'm watching him line up some shot and I'm thinking, "No way. No squealing way he can make that." And parts fly. "Damn."
It's like watching those vids where some HS kid hurls a basketball from the back end of the court with 2 sec left and hits nothing but net. I'm sure that is frustrating to be on the receiving end, but that doesn't make it cheating. Whatever else, I see no evidence of hacks and he wouldn't be live streaming them if he was. IF he is truly cheating according to HTC definition send in the evidence and by all means burn him alive.
Is he stalking you? I dunno. Back the AH prime there use to be players we'd stalk. Rivalries. There was a guy....hmmm accessing ancient cold-storage memory banks... Torque? We use to try and hunt that guy and it would take 3 of us.
Still with the numbers, spread across 3 countries, and given that some are just in tower on the lonely grandpa chat room, and others are sitting in GV picking their noses, it's not inconceivable that active pilots operating on the front might run into each other more often than in the past.
Apparently he's F'upped in the past. If you have evidence of cheating now, present it and burn him at the stake. But just shooting people down is not cheating.
Don't like his plane choice? Tough. I've watched his videos when he looks behind and there is a conga line of 5-6 enemy chasing him. Of course he has to have a fast plane to avoid getting instantly surrounded by all those sea gulls screaming, "Mine! Mine! Mine!Mine! Mine! Mine!" He has to stay fast to control the engagement and corral them and cut one from the herd at the right moment and put his brand on. Anything slower and he would be surrounded instantly and gang-raped bow-legged.
A lot here think they should have to authority to dictate what planes people are allowed to fly and what tactics they are allowed to use. No one has that authority but HTC. Don't like it? Invite him to the DA. He seems willing to fly just about anything there when it's limited to 1v1. Pick your favorite and offer him the challenge. IN the MA, anything goes.
I think the real problem is simpler.
Does anyone think that if Skyr lost 50% or more of his fights in the MA that there still be any problem?
