VR questions
« on: July 06, 2024, 05:55:08 PM »
Just started using VR, htc vive, and i have a few questions....
1. Is there a way to move the clipboard back? Its right in my face.
2. Does changing FOV setting actually change in the VR view? or is it just for monitors?
 thanks in advance

Howdy NOT
Shrink the map (-) and move it with the mouse dot

I think the fov settings are just for monitors

Great to have you back Not.  I place the clipboard on my right wing, this way it does not block my view and I can keep it up all the time.

Nope Kenaii, I'm the original NOT, AK- NOT.... not ak- knot(Slipknot)

Another question...I have tried adjusting the PDI, but I still get cross eyed trying to focus on the gun sight.  Did this get better or is there something I can do? My aim was already bad enough.......

It varies a bit in different planes, best to center the sight then look through it and focus on the target imo

Agreed, looking through the site at the target gets rid of the double site and the cross eyed feeling.

My fix to that problem (I'm left eye dominant) I press the center the sight button, then move my head so the right eye is in  the center of the sight and hit center the sight button again.  Then when I sit up straight my left is centered on the sight.  Of course if you are right eye dominant do the opposite.

Or just shift around to the left or right, put the sight where you'd like and then hit F10. This will save that position so every time you hit the centering key that's where you'll be.
