It just goes to show that we need to keep in touch with old friends a little bit more. 2slow hadn't flown with us for several months and I just figured he had "Quiet quit". Unfortunately, I'm sure that health issues were to blame.
I do miss flying with him and his spreadsheet which he had to calculate the salvo delay based on speed and altitude to cover a town from end to end in B17s, all so he could drop all eggs in one pass... even when I would try to point out that the town center was already hit
and then I would get the "I only got seven buildings." God love him, he was persistent in that behavior. <S> and fair skies my friend.
