If you find your command doesn't seem like it's taking, edit it and make the keypress longer. I think it defaults at like .1 sec. I usually bump it to .25 and get more consistent results. YMMV

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but I wondered if Voice Attack supported double clicks of buttons. I found it does. So, you can get two different functions from one button with a single or double press.
Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

Something else you can do with Voice Attack is switch VA profiles on command. Either by voice or button. There are other ways to switch between mapped profiles, depending on hardware you use, but using VA makes it easy to see what's what. For example, you might want to use a joystick hat with trim and views. You could have two VA profiles. One named after the aircraft and another named trim. Switch between them with a button press or voice command.
