TC's Memorial Flight
« on: September 15, 2024, 07:03:16 PM »
Thanks to everyone who upped for the flight and memorial, it was nice and heartfelt. It was good to see so many folks who haven't flown here in a while along with some of the current folks. I'm glad Lindsey got to see it as well.

Thanks to Mayhem, FIN3TIME, Ren and Fuzeman for you efforts seeing this through and making it work. Great job.

I'm pretty sure he had some smiles and laughs.

Thanks again...

To add to Xanax's thank you!!!

To Johnny's girls, Thanks you for allowing us to share in your grief and provide us with the opportunity to pay tribute to a fine man in our little way.  :salute

To the Damned who were able to make it:
Damned Mayhem, Damned Ode, Damned Foofghtr, Damned Xanax, Damned Max, and Damned Joker.  :salute
At least 5 Damned were unable to make it due to unplanned circumstances but they all sent their best wishes for Johnny's girls.

Other friends of TC that were able to show, fly and bid farewell to Johnny I want to thank them and recognize some of the older AH pilots who flew and enjoyed TC's company as he played an important part in each of our lives:
fuzeman, morfiend, Luft, SKu, JayZ, DropTine, Tex01, SIK1, KONG, ITZMAAM and tdgSHane.  :salute

I know there were a lot more up flying in the tribute and I missed mentioning them here. Reason? My fault. I appologize.
Maybe fuzeman and Mayhem or some of you other pilots can add to the list of Johnny's friends who flew today's tribute.

Salute to all of you, old friends.  :salute

I know but I am upset that i missed this great tribute to a great Man and Player of the game. Just wish the 7pm est stood a few others tonight were asking on 200 what time the Memorial was. I sleep a lot due to my bad heart and the meds I am forced to take

If you want my long film it’s available, just ask.
Didn’t think of it then as it got busy but I should have sent an announcement on the 906 channel so anyone in game knew it was ongoing.
Ren, you listed enough, don’t feel bad about missing 1 or 2.
I hope we could help with the healing process and TC would have liked it I think.

Thought of this drinking my first cup of coffee.  I don’t know what Johnny looked like, not that it matters really but could someone post a picture of TC? I’d like to see him when he was active and his body was still in fairly good shape. Thanks if you do.

Frodo and I were there to rep JG11,unfortunately I had to leave early as I had other commitments.

I was a rough weekend as I had 2 memorials to attend and missed the air show. I was gifted VIP tickets for my Bday but my mother in law had passed and my old friend Jonny Spencer, that just seemed more important.

Would could i assume his picture is on a Facebook page?
That would work if I had a link.
Thanks.

I think a lot of us that have been away for a while overlooked VOX and Sound settings :/

I did record the event with internal film recorder.

As soon as I get this to Gh0st and we have a place to store and share it (and other films) I'll try to post a download link.
