Master sound
« on: October 28, 2024, 02:52:38 PM »
When I use speakers the sound is good, but annoying to others in the house.  But when I switch to bluetooth headphones the sound is too low, Is the a master volume setting in thae sim, and where is it.

First make sure your Windows volume (sound card) is up. I run mine at 50%. This is universal to the system.

Also make sure the volume on your headset is up.

You can make further adjustments in Sound Properties for the specific device.

Then adjust your AH master volume in clipboard under Options > Preferences > Game Sounds. You can be more elaborate by clicking Advanced.

THe problem is that my headphones are bluetooth and don't appear int the list in the sim.  I can run them via a cable plugged into my speakers, but that is cumbersome. I have soundcore headset. Is there a way to get that into the list of headsets in the sim?

Do they appear in the list of sound devices in Windows? Do they work in other applications like YouTube or other games?

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

If they appear in windows and work, they should work in AH.

Be sure your headset is up and running before you start the game. If they are not, windows wont have them listed and so the game wont have them listed is what Im thinking.
