My beloved Wolverines, defending national champs, have had a rough year.  But had some moments that looked good in last week's game against Michigan State.

This week, they play #1 Oregon.

Go Blue!  :aok

My other favored team, the Vols, have been doing well.  A slip up vs. Arkansas, but looking quite good still so far.

My beloved Wolverines have terribly inept coaching.

Love the players.  But hoping for an entirely new coaching staff next year.

Since the worst enemy of Michigan football is the Michigan administration, we'll see.

Told my wife at the beginning.... wonder why he didn't start Conner? Could switch again if they started getting to him.
Then Moss went down. Comfort level dropped again.

At least we are bowl bound, but another lackluster season for Arkansas. Taking down Tennessee was our unexpected  peak.

Plenty of other teams better than us, but majority of our losses were us beating ourselves with turnovers and mistakes. Protect the ball and we would have beaten OK state, Texas A&M and Missouri not to mention a chance against Texas (to be fair, Auburn outplayed us and we were only saved by their 5 turnovers).

Our defense was stout enough to keep us in most games, but our offense often played only well enough to barely lose.

LOL as usual...... A&M is still needing a good all around QB badly. This has been needed for several years now. Is there an end in sight?

What a season for my beloved Wolverines.

Coaching looked terrible for much of it.  Defensive coaching looked incrementally better over the full course, but offensive coaching looked continuously bad.  Until game 11 against Northwestern, when things looked drastically better.

Also, despite the bad year so far, recruiting was looking amazing.

And finally The Game -- unranked Michigan (6-5) vs. #2 Ohio State (10-1), with one of the best rosters in Ohio State history -- ended in one of the greatest victories in Michigan history.

Still, the offensive coaching didn't look that good.  But after The Game, despite victory, Michigan let go the offensive coordinator.  A tough but correct call.

With all of that, I'm back to feeling good about next year.  But it will take a lot of rebuilding, because while Michigan lost a large number of great players at end of last year, it will lose a bunch more at the end of this year.

I'm hoping for Michigan in the Music City Bowl, as I live near Nashville.

I think Michigan has played Florida more than it has played some Big10 teams.
