Problem with offline practice

Been flying agqainst drones in offline missions, now when I want to go to offline practice, the field looks right befor I take off, but when I select a direction I end up at field A1 aat 10,000 feet, and am not anywhere near the field that has the four drones circling.  I look for a setting but can't find it.  Also, how do you set the skill level of the drones on offline missions.  I read a post about setting the drone to really stupid.  Thanks

On some maps the direction buttons for takeoff are tied to air spawns. This launches you at the point it is set at and the altitude it is set at.

The circleing drones do nothing but fly in a circle and dont attack you.  If you go on line and use the "Match Play" arena you can go head to head with drones that attack you.

Fuji, since I am practicing a lot, especially deflectiin shots, I want to be able to practice shooting at the circling drones.  But when I take off they are nowhere near the base I take off from, and I am at 10000 feet.  How do I fix that?

There should be at least one 30k field or maybe it's 20k field in the training arena.   

This is a good shortcut to get to testing high altitude performance.   

Remember the fuel burn is 1/2 of the main arena.
