Authentic HOTAS equipment
« on: December 07, 2024, 01:38:30 PM »
I've yet to own a 3D printer but this site gives compelling reasons to get one. The P-51 stuff and the stick for the Spitfire are really cool looking to me. That 109K throttle looks amazing as well.

No reason why it wouldn't. Everything is treated as a standard controller in windows. Been following this guy for a while. Ridiculous level of detail. I already have a bunch invested in controllers so this isn't for me but this looks like a super cool project. He'll send the files to print the stuff yourself if you want along with kits to wire everything up. And without having to solder anything making it easy for just about anyone to do.

Hasn't done anything for the 38 tho so, hehe.

There was another guy doing stuff like this, Replika Gear. I bought a prototype damper mod kit from him for the MFG pedals that MFG now has as an add on. Sadly that guy just up and went poof not long after that. His discord went dark and no one has heard from him in years now.

If you buy a 3D printer get one that auto levels. Much more convenient. Much.
