Horble's Video Hut
« on: December 28, 2024, 03:35:14 PM »
I think I'll just post all my videos in this thread from now on instead of making new threads.

My last sortie before the WWI New Year's Party, really got my heartrate up.  :salute To everyone involved as always.

Good stuff!
The gunless kill at the end was especially entertaining.
I'm not sure if it's your screen resolution, vid card or recording software but the video is stunning for color, clarity and depth. The clouds look really good and they add a lot of depth in particular. Hell, maybe it's these new Coke bottle lenses I now need for sitting at a computer. Whatever, it's a great vid.

Thanks guys! I play the game at 1920x1080 with a 120 FOV and max everything. I record with Shadowplay on high settings at 60 FPS, usually using the setting that lets me record the last 10 minutes if I have a good fight/interesting sortie. I then just dump it into Davinci Resolve, throw some titles on, try to edit out any weird breathing noises, and quick export it using the default youtube option. I don't think I really messed with any settings but if it's not broke I'm not going to try and fix it!

Me thinks the codecs used is preserving the quality well. Davinci Is really good software.

I had messed around with some of the other free options before trying it out and should never have bothered, it has the easiest to understand/use tools for what I need.

Thanks all!  I've been enjoying doing this (and have had time) enough to make another one! My best sortie of the night the other day, had some other great fights but they're going to have to go into the death reel..
