No matter what aircraft I select, or which joystick I’m using, when I enter the cockpit, the forward view starts drifting towards the left, and then up and around.
What is the workaround?

Can't DM you on my phone Max. The controls setup is a treat in that sim. Best part is you think you have it set up and it changes it back next time you log on. Thinking the whole streaming the whole game is a bit of a reach!

I have two logitech quadrants that I combined into a single controller in vJoy. I have the controls set up in FS24 for the vJoy device, mixture, prop, carb heat, etc. Even so, FS24 insists on applying a stock Saitek profile to only ONE of the quads that I need to reset every time to a blank profile. Annoying! So many bugs in this version. I guess it was already branded 2024 and they were almost out of that so too late to call it 2025! Which it should have been. Really needed to cook a while longer.

But I'm in VR so I generally don't have the camera views set up. Between VR and XRNS I can see everything. Used to use an app called Flow in FS20 that has a bunch of extra camera views both internal and external pre-set for every plane, but sadly it doesn't work in FS24 yet. I miss Flow. It replaces the stock toolbar and is far better.

Sounds like something else is mapped to the cockpit view. I'm not at the PC but I know it's in settings/controls. Click on that. At the bottom left, filter to "assigned" and then look at each of your controllers and see what is assigned to camera or cockpit views. It'll be something in one of them. It'd be just great if you could look at the scaling for each of them to see what's moving but that part doesn't work yet either!

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try them today. I recall a similar situation occurred in FS2020 after an update. The fix involved adding deadband to a camera axis...forget which. Asobo seems  hellbent on creating a very over-complicated controller set-up vs the magnificent simplicity of Dale's approach.
I'll report back when I find a fix. Meanwhile I have use of the game software for a limited time via a $1 XBox Game Pass offer.
