Awesome setups!  :salute

As far as VKB rudder, I own a set as well. I usually keep my feet off them while climbing or traveling...short travel i keep them on...of course I keep them on during combat.

I do have deadband and dampening as well as scaling set. That part is personal preference, I find a like an "inch" of dead band helps in slight movements like adjusting yourself in the chair or something. Also scaling helps me not throw my 38 into shudders when I'm amped up and kick the rudder...hope that helps

It does help. I've tried keeping my feet off of them until action occurs but I either forget about them or leave them on too long if I happen to survive So I've been playing with scaling and dampening. I got the "jimmy leg" thing going where I never stop moving my feet longer than 10 seconds without tapping out a beat or just fidgeting so the inch of dead band might just do the trick.

You're very welcome, here is screenshot of my settings for elevators and rudder - the ailerons are the same as the elevators for the stick.  :salute

Just WOW!

A dream rig.

Yep, it's my dream rig.

Holy smokes, Nice! The chair actually looks comfortable compared to most sim pits I've seen as well. I'd like to see pics when it's all finished up.

The chair was probably the most difficult single piece of it all. I had several criteria for what I was looking for in a seat. Finding something that met all of them, and that I could afford was not an easy task.

Nice SIK1 !!! I looked through my old "Mafia" stuff because I number of guys were building simpits back then. I was hoping I had a picture from you on a first attempt, but no luck.

This one looks great! Very well thought out.  :aok

Joe, I wish you had been able to find something from the way back. I lost all my pics from the early days when I had a hdd go t.u. about ten years ago.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Believe it or not I think I have pretty much the whole Mafia web site saved. Fun to look back sometimes!

Implemented them and they work great. My fidgety feet aren't throwing unwanted inputs and the elevator setting cut the negative-G engine cutout situation in my Spit1 by maybe 50%. I still die nearly every fight but at least I'm getting a bit more competitive and less laughable. Still Awful though.
