If using a spinning hard drive, it won't keep up on 4k high detail scenes.
Also, if using GPU to encode, it has a separate encode processor that the game doesn't use.
Either resource can be monitored with the Task manager performance window.

Thanks Kermit, good to cya around.

I’m using SSD for this stuff. The screen capture is the weak link.
Anything away from ground detail is crazy smooth. Which will be great for this scenario.
But I’m working on a 2 min video thats almost all close to the ground.

I got rid of 50% studder by making the both AHFV window and Bandicam capture frame at 2560x1440 in size and lowered capture fps down from 120 to 60, even tho I’m at 4k res 120 clamped 120fps, I can get 300fps, thats just wasted frames.

I also toyed with high priority settings.

I’m going to try killing all bkg processes and see if it becomes acceptable.

Chances are this one will probably need to be done at 2560x1440 res.

The scenario has a good chance of being true 4k since 95% is far away from ground detail.

I have a setting that forces writing directly to drive (a tweak), I may try disable that and using memory first.

The fan on the gpu is just cranking, so I know its under pressure.

I get obsessed on a project, I get fixated on getting it right, and I lose hair doing that.

Never fails, a film with the best shots is always the crash problem child.

I think the guy upstairs is entertained by me losing my ever loving mind on a project.

I’m like “ I SHALL NOT be defeated”
The guy upstairs is like “hold my beer”
