Thanks for the replies and techniques, gents. That’s a consistent, successful process now.
Still in the process of fine tuning performance. On a whim a couple days ago, tried a question with ChatGPT. It’s been an impressive process. The initial display was a bit less than impressive but, better than the G2. The AI started with the CL, ruled that out as the issue by analyzing the settings. Then the PC system. Although, 9 years old and a beast in it’s day, still capable in AH and VR. A newer system (at some point) will optimize performance. The AI narrowed it down to the graphics card (3080) driver, which hasn’t been updated in some time. Totally my fault and now remedied. After doing that, the CL display is crystal clear and nearly as sharp as the monitor.
The remaining issue is frame rate. It’s at 10 and stays there even with the AH sliders all the way to the bottom, or the top (with CL set to 90). So, that’s the last step is to resolve. That’s this afternoon’s project with AI. I was quite impressed with the intricate analysis it goes through. No doubt on par with that of a formally educated IT professional, which I’m far from.
So, if there’s a nagging computer issue you can’t figure out, AI may be able to help. I’m impressed how fast AI can filter through the enormous amount of info on the web a pick out the exact answer for the problem, a process that would take days and untold amounts of frustration for me to accomplish.
Shout out and hearty salute to SNO. After seeing my early post about this, he called and we chatted for a bit. Followed up by sending me a series of screen shots of how his CL rig is set up. SNO’s settings and what AI had me select previously were nearly identical. So, not an AI, SNO is smart as one. Thanks my friend!
