Meta Quest 3 setup

G'day gurus. So I just bought the Meta Quest 3 for all my flight sims but thought I'd start with my favourite  sim first. My issue so far (probably because I have no idea what I'm doing) is i can start the game (using remote desktop) but this basically a big TV screen in front of me and not me immersed inside the cockpit like I thought I'd be.I turn my head and nothing happens. Still have my hothas views working. I'm running Steam VR in the background.  Is there something else I shoukd be doing?

Not sure if the same but when I use my quest 2 I have to strat up the meta link app first as that has to be running to use any desktop applications..

I start that app up first before I plug in the usb-c cable from the computer to the headset..

When I plug in the cable I  get a pop-up window in the headset asking if I want to use the cable link which I  click yes with a quest handset..

I then take the headset off, minimize the meta link app and then open my dx11 AH desktop app which then asks me if I want to use my oculus headset which I click yes...

Making sure the window focus is on AH I slip the headset back on and continue to get into MA using the mouse..

At that point AH starts and I am in vr..

Yeah with the quest my 'workflow' was:
Turn on headset
Connect headset to desktop (via airlink)
Launch AH from within headset menu connected via desktop

If you have AH via steam, that may be different, otherwise, steamVR should not be necessary.
