Gents... today we had about 120 bish on, and about 30 of us got into one of Fariz's awsome mission sets.

During a protracted and heavily contested fight the 30 of us were stalled over one rook field for a bit, and during this time the knights started to move in the south.

Some bish started whining about 'all' the bish being involved in the mission, and contend we lost some fields to an organised assault by the knights down south as a result.

The whining was bitter, and I took offence.. essentialy told the guy to "shaddap and go kill something".

Since I was rather buzy at the time, I'd like to now point a few obvious things out about our whining non-constructive infighting in the midst of a two front war.. cut it out. Thirty guys from 120 guys is NINETY guys available to do whatever you want 'em to do. Herd yer own cats, and lay off hasseling the ones that ARE organized!!

Attacking a mission in progress as detrimental to Bish objectives is not only WRONG.. it's frekin ludicrious. We're lucky when we can get 15 guys outta a hundred into a mission, and when we do, it does nothing for our TEAM objective to bicker and squeak at them because they are not involved in saving your priceless hide or pet field by flying on YOUR wing where YOU are.

Rather than howling about something GOOD happening in a sector YOU ain't in, try and rally the guys that are available in YOUR sector with some POSITIVE commentary and go get the damn job done, and leave the other mission participants to do THEIR job.

We are BISH, we RULE, and gawdammit; we WILL do the job if we get organised, fly missions and stay with the program.

Moral: Missions are GOOD. Whining about 'em 'stealing' pilots from your sector is BAD. Missions tend to accomplish objectives, capture fields and forces the enemy defensive which is GOOD, whining about them fragments the teamwork and is BAD. The BEST 'defense' is a solid concentrated offense... that means a mission. If the war in your sector is goin bad, get offensive.. plan a mission and STRIKE!

What organizing a Bish Mission is like.. really!

Or try this this link... (edit)

Those that fly in missions!

Missions are so rarely used in the MA its not even funny, but the sad thing is when we do get missions going, THEY WORK OVER 90% of the time!!!

I don't know why people can't make the connection MISSIONS=GOOD LOTS OF KILLS....

Some days we will be fighting at 3 main areas, each area it's a standstill.

10-20 people easy can take a base if they know how.  Its sad when us Knits have 120 on and the Rooks got 60 yet we cant do cheese to them

I posted this idea a LONG time ago.  What about awarding a small perk point multiplyer to missions??  Something to get people more interested in TEAM WORK and organization.  Something the MA lacks usually.

I agree, missions when plaed right have unlimited success....

Fariz, Lazer, and Tac always have had great and sucessful missions. Unfortunatly the knights stole lazer and tac :) so bye bye.

and BTW That cat video was the funniest thing i have ever seen!!! LMAO

"..heardin cats.. well; anybody can heard cattle, but holding together 10 thousand half wild short hairs; well, thats another thing altogether.. "

Cracks me up... but thats what it's like gettin bish onto an objective.. with a goon.

It's the same on every side... some guys think you shout people into submission, I guess. Me, I have to resist the urge to swap sides and kill them.

I was thinking about this last night...

The Bish have no notable standout annoying tards.

Sure, Tac can't answer his phone unless he mentions a Niki, but other than that, it seems the true blue tard crews are Rooks, or actually mostly Knits.

Weird.

You back me up tenfold Jacknife.

Now lets see if DRippy can mold this thread into talking about his car or boat, or winning lifes challenges to being a assistant to a Boeing Engineer.

The "Wendy's/Dave Dies/I have a Boat and a American Dream" thread had me in tears, Im just too lazy to find it after we rolled about it in the FDB forum.
