Buzzbait, any chance to adjust Buff settings in CT?
« on: January 14, 2002, 04:17:30 AM »
I mean, is it possible to set individual ceilings, reflecting usual bombrun ceilings or, at least, get rid of the crazy 35k+ buff?

Maybe they're OK in MA, but I don't see a single reason to have them in CT.

And thks for the hard work, CT is great!

Cheers,

Pepe.

Sorry, but there is currently no way to set a hard ceiling in an arena, except to set an upper wind layer with a hundred-mile an hour downdraft (don't know if this has been implemented yet, either, but it was requested).  This would effect all aircraft, not just buffs.  Be patient; 1.09 is supposed to introduce changes to bombing that will make dropping bombs from high altitude more realistic in effect.  Of course, the trade off is that you will see four times as many buffs :), since a single buff pilot will be able to launch and control four buffs at once.
