Having trouble with screen jumping and or plane jumping around.  This only seems to be a promblem  when in zoom mode while pulling  trigger to fire guns. Have tried using keboard to fire guns doesn't seem to help. Any help or suggestion will be appeciated.  I have winX - ASUS A7A266 - !.4 - Geforce2 64meg - creative soundblaster live - am on 1.5DSL -  MS Sidewinder Precision 2 USB. Also have tried Precision Pro With no difference. Setting scale, deband seems to affect flight controls only.       ANY HELP!!:D

Do you have the latest VIA 4-in-1's?  Latest sound drivers?

What version of the Detonator drivers are you running for your vid card?

Also, try using Cntrl-C to disable ground clutter.

No it doesn's do it in field, boat or gunner position.    At first I had win98 with early nvidia drivers. Switched to winXP with XP drivers.  Switched to lastest  nvidia drivers about 2 weeks ago, still the same thing happing.  It is the plane jumping around when i push trigger in zoom mood not the screen. Don't seem to notice it in normal view mode. Plane jumps around enough that the target goes in and out of view. Getting around 75 to 90 frame rate so dont think that the problem. GeForce 2 MX MX 400. Bios-3.11.00.18-driver2.3.1.1.

Ahhh.... now I see.  I don't think anything is wrong.  If you move your stick around you may see this "jumping".  As you chang direction you should notice your pilot's "head" bobs in reaction to the change in G forces.  In addition, when firing guns the recoil of the weapons will shake the plane around too.

As a general rule, you should never be shooting zoomed unless at very long ranges IMO.  When you zoom, you loose your perspective I find, and it becomes much more difficult to score hits.  I recommend you use the zoom mode to see more distant targets to guage their flight path and attitude, but when firing always do so from your normal forward view.    Give it a try, and you should still see your screen "shaking", but you won't notice it as much if you are not zoomed way in.

Another thing it might be is that in AH, the vibration of the guns when they fire causes the plane to shake, just like in a real plane.  When you zoom in, you notice it more because everything is magnified.
