This is what we have so far. We believe these to be pretty close to what will work. If you have questions post them here. We'll do our best to explain our thinking.

I'd swap the 1 perk for the 190A5 and A8, the A5 is a much more capable plane in my opinion.  I'd also think about perking the G6 cheaply, but I didn't really go over the Allied side to closely so I don't know if the comparable rides over there are free.

So we can get any allied plane at any allied base Hblair?

Another way to help ballance the bombers would be to make the B-17s and lanc available at only certain bases.

This is probrably more work then its worth but is there any thought as to aligning historical aircraft against each by for example

ijaaf/n facing allied pac planes say like in the sw corner

eastfront aircraft north

and west front / med center

or something like so?

Its probrably more of a hassle on you cms then necessary but any thoughts along these lines?

and

how about 4 eng buffs available at large bases 2 eng buffs at med fields and fighter/attack aircraft at small fields (to include mossie, il2 , tbm). This may make an attack strategy more interesting.

We perk planes for several different reasons.

The P38 and Dhog can kill a hangar in a single pass, their jabo ability is much stronger than any of the axis, hence the perks.

The spit 9 has more kills in the MA than any other fighter this tour.

Hblair, the F6F has better jabo capabilities as the F4U-D (beats it by carrying 2 more rockets hehe). Should have the same perk cost as the hog-D.

I would also let each side have its own vehicles. With the M3 and LVT's being the only ones the 2 sides share.

The Allies have the faster moving M8, the M16 and the M3. Axis would have the M3, Flakpanzer and the PanzerIV. Allies have better ground attack planes so that should balance that out as far as the ground units is concerned. Besides, Shermans really couldnt go head to head with german tanks, they would generally call in air support to take them out or overwhelm them with sheer numbers.

We felt the need to leave some allied fighters unperked, but many of the US fighters are heavy hitting jabo's. We left the F6F unperked, justifying this by limiting it to carrier duty.

Your ground war idea is exactly what I had to start with. I decided to give the allies the panzer to even it up. Anyone have any problems with having the correct vehicles on each side?(except troop carrying ones of course)

Are the perk points we have now going to be reset  or do we keep the ones we have now?

I like the set up

Unperk the 38 then, it cant run like the F6F and its not carrier capable. Since the F4U-1 and D and -4 would be carrier enabled, and there's a spitfire also avaliable from carrier... well, u figure it out :)

I think that having better ground vehicles is better for the axis. Almost every allied AC can carry enough ord to blast a column of panzers, but an axis AC can barely take out 1 or 2 (jabo of course). And also remember that the axis has really crappy bombers with no turbolaser.. so a ju88 or its TBM wont be of much use unless they come with plenty of escort.
