On this note, who if you had to invite one of them over for dinner, would you chose Ashcroft or Jackson?

Karnak is close to seeing the light...  he listed some of his beliefs (which fall on both sides of the fence), but still labels himself liberal.  Karnak, you ain't liberal.  you ain't conservative.  You're Karnak!    Your overall view might lean to the left of the line, but that doesn't mean you have to use the liberal label and instantly be opposed to those who use the conservative label.  

You guys treat this like a Bloods/Crips thing 95% of the time when you post on political topics.

1.  Can you list out for me the exact laws that are violations of the Constitution?

2.  Then explain to me why the Supreme Court hasn't struck them down in 20 years?

Most people in this country are niether completely liberal nor completely conservative. They vary across the spectrum depending on the issues.

Jesse Jackson - Hmmmm, a lamb who has lost his way. Sigh, you just don't read, do you?  My whole point is, both sides have EVIL people, lobbying...I choose THIS side because IMO it has LESS evil!  And as for Jesse Jackson, he just makes the gap between white and black that much further.

In your opinion...which I might add, is wrong in my opinion.

I would trust a man of God before I'd ever trust a gay teacher teaching my children about accepting homosexuality.  And, my child learning how to properly handle a firearm from a NRA-approved school is going give him a better probability of survival than a session from a gay teacher that its okay to take it up the ass.

If you really think about it, the Muslim world hates everything the Liberals agree with, more so than the conservatives.

You probably have no idea how many gay teachers you have had in your lifetime. I've seen numbers anywhere from 7 - 10 percent of the population is gay. You figure it out. No one wants to teach your kids how to be gay. If they are, they will figure it out all by themselves. I should hope that the world will be more accepting of gays by the time your kids grow up. Just in case you know. What is it about gays that made you pick that group out of the list?

OTOH I don't want some secret member of the KKK to be teaching my kids about equality either. Or Jerry Falwell teaching my kids about his version of family values.

On gay teachers, I have NO problems with gays, keep it in the closet, fine by me.  Its the ones that feel that they must tell everyone, and some even feel that they MUST teach the children that its okay.  Guess what, 2 guys or two girls have NEVER produced offspring. Its not okay, by nature or my moral standards.  Incidently,your right, my kids WILL be not only learning about gays, but PAYING FOR THEM TOO!

Support them all you want.  I say live and let live, but DON'T feel obligated to force it on my family.
