Ten Things In CT That You'll Never See In MA
« on: February 03, 2002, 03:21:52 PM »
1:Seeing a pilot get lamblasted by his own country for taking up a NIKI...And then watching him actually RTB and get a real plane.(BlueDog...your soul is safe)
2:People breaking off their engagements to give cover to friendly JU88's closing on an enemy base.
3:Can spend hours in there without hearing a complaint about HO's,warping or losing a perk plane.
4:Epic 1 on 1 battles with some of the best pilots in Aces High.
5:Can shoot down a Me109 without worrying about being bounced by a high Spitfire.
6:Me262 for 22 perks.
7:Carrier planes only available on carriers
8:Nobody cares about hit%,K/D or K/T.
9:People switching sides to even out the numbers.
10:Me.(When numbers in MA are over 300)..:)

Aye - CT is much fun!  =)  Just starting putting in more than idle time there and the historical plane sets alone are enough to A. change the entire game. B. Keep me interested.  Great bunch of guys too.  =)

Check it out guys, you might actually like it - besides, then you can always harp on MA chaps.  :P

Yup Sirlion, great list! Like the Niki thing especially, even though it is perked, it is quite cheap. Have only seen one single in there, he killed my P47 and then he RTB:ed in disgrace ;)

I like the CT but I can't help myself.  [Devil's Advocate Mode]

I see that in the MA.  Tons of N1K2-whiners there.

People breaking off their engagements to give cover to friendly JU88's closing on an enemy base.
I've seen guys cover bombers in the MA.

Can spend hours in there without hearing a complaint about HO's,warping or losing a perk plane.
Yeah because there's nobody in there to complain.  If a whiner whines in a vacuum, does it make a sound?

Quote
Epic 1 on 1 battles with some of the best pilots in Aces High.
Yeah Leviathn and Drex and Nath and Mitsu, those guys I fought in the MA are crap.  :)

Quote

 OK you got me there.

Quote
6:Me262 for 22 perks.
More jet dweebs is a GOOD thing?

Carrier planes only available on carriers
Wha?  You can't use land planes from the CV in the MA.  You can use CV planes from land bases in the MA, just like in WWII.

8:Nobody cares about hit%,K/D or K/T.
I've seen plenty of CT denziens tooting their own horn talking about K/D.

Quote
9:People switching sides to even out the numbers.
Only because the draconian MA side switch time limits aren't used in the CT.

10:Me.(When numbers in MA are over 300)..
 Have fun!

12)  People from the MA trying to get people from the CT to fly there.

I have nothing against the CT, and I think it's a great thing.  But for some reason I get the same feeling as I get when a salesperson tries to sell me something.  If I need it so bad, why are they trying to sell it so hard?   If it's good, they will come.  Quit trying so hard.

Funny you should mention that. Every time I got in a fight with you, Belicb would cover you.

And every time I got in a fight with him, you covered him.

Strange how Ch1 was full of "nice one on one" when you two were  tag teaming.

Not that that's bad, per se; the two of you were making a lovely job of it.

Bit frustrating, none the less.

Al;ot of guiys like to wing up in there, they can do it effectively because of the relatively small numbers. Thats just there way of having fun. This of course is not exclusive to the CT:) Its done just as well in the MA, however usually even a good wing pair will get in trouble in the onslaght at a MA size furball

how can that be ammo?   Anyone can jump into a MA furball and rack up the kills.

One thing you won't see in the CT tho is MA people begging for guys to come play with em in the MA.  In fact... one thing you won't see in the CT BB is MA people begging for guys to come play with em in the MA..

Lazsie,
Since laz registered 3 months before you, and there seems to be some confusion between your similar names, and you seem to be so fond of giving everyone cute little nick-names, how about we all call you:
