Q 2 HTC: rudder force feed back
« on: February 08, 2002, 07:24:55 AM »
Hello

Is it possible get out from Aces high force feed back code a rudder / Slip ball information?

Hmmm... vibramotor for each to legside/under the feet on the pedal/in to your... j/k.

Slip ball on left side and left motor will run and vice versa. With vibra amplitude modulatin could tell how much ball is out of the center.

Just playing with idea...

Mute point since there isn't any force feedback rudder pedals on the market.  You can build some but then you'd have to make sure that they are compatible with the force feedback API that HTC uses in Aces High.  My guess they are using Immersion's latest generation force feedback API, TouchSense.  Maybe you can buy a reference board from Immersion, or at least buy the TouchSense API and try to make your own board.
