Hmm.. I've tried it out and got two thoughts:
One)  Fighter Ace's greatest enemy as a devoted flight/air combat sim is
the fact that Relaxed Realism exists at all.
Two) but also, Fighter Ace's greatest ally as a commercial  online  game
that seeks out to the majority of the  public  not so  much talented  as  to
spend vast amounts of time  against a high  learning curve, is  also  the
 existence of Relaxed Realism.
The graphics weren't bad(I thought very nice, actually...).. textures seem
nice, the colors were a little deep toned but overall it is enjoyable. The
one especially good, small feature is the cockpits opening and closing
FM.. I guess it is a bit strange, and seems easy and forgiving compared
to IL-2 or Aces High(even in Full Real settings), but I guess this  is  just
up to the developers to model it the way they see fit. There is a way  of
fighting in games like AH, and there is as much their own way of fighting
in FA3..  Though my vote goes to AH in the 'more realistic

 '
category, FA3 full real FM is pretty much fun, too.
 ..
but the thing is, all the test arenas open are in Relaxed Realism. And
somehow with RR arenas open, I feel there isn't going to be anyone to
fly and fight against in FR arenas when the finished version comes out..
 ..
I guess I've played AH too much to settle for hoardes of people pulling
8G/No black out/no stall super turns... but the strats are pretty interesting
 and the map looks nice.
 ..
I guess as a 'first step' for introducing more people into the world of
flight sim games, FA3 will be a very successful one. Dunno how much
of those who took their first step with FA3 would 'advance' to other games
with more realistic features, but at least it is nice to know that  people still
stay interested in WW2 air combat
