Hitech PLEASE, PLEASE, turn off the kill shooter in MA.  If it was turned off then people would quit diving in front of you stealing kills.  I have been killed 35 times this month by the D____ kill shooter and most of the time I was inside D500 when the planes came from behind me and passed me while I was shooting.  I know they could see the tracers so there is a lot of people that are using kill shooter against fellow countrymen.

Welcome to Aces High there guy, just wait till you're firm on a bogie's tail and the fake 6-calls come streaming in from the friendly behind you hoping you'll peel off giving him the shot/kill.

Yeah, turn off killshooter so instead of diving in front of him and into his bullet stream, we can dive in behind him and kill him just for our own amusement.

Hey I know, maybe we can make it so only his bullets damage other planes, then he can have alot of fun.  Yeah, thats it.  :)

I die to killshooter maybe twice a year.  If you are dieing 35 times a month, its definitly a problem of your own making.  You are probably a shoulder shooter.

Sheeeeeesh, new guys!

35 times? :) I am usually killed couple time by killshooter during the whole tour, which is .1% of my death in tour. Probably it will help if you unglue your fire button :)

Why not make bullets that hit a friendly plane ineffective?

Good suggestion Laz. :)

But then some dweeb is gonna ping you to get you out of the way, just like the fake check 6 calls.  I hear bullets pinging me, I try to duck. :)

Maybe no sound to the hits either?

Who cares?

I sure as hell don't.

How the hell someone can die 35 times to killshooter is beyond me.  I guess someone needs to learn a bit of self control when it comes to the trigger finger.  At the rate that I die to killshooter incidents, I would need to fly about 200+ hours of AH to even approach that number.  Maybe someone needs to go get some sun?

Well - without killshooter we'd have green dweeb wars.. and of course youd have the odd guy making a name for himself by vulching his own field.  Lazer has a good suggestion but even if there is no sound, the sight of tracers coming from the general direction of my bellybutton tends to promote immediate habitual survival behavior.  :P

Set to 0 the shooting plane ammo counters, no need to destroy the plane.

Since the case I shot my own bellybutton off in Tempest when I was shooting at a target in front of me and some wiseguy in La7 dove just in front of me and ate the load I really pay attention even to friendly planes in the vicinity and had no single KS death since then... I buy few KS pings sometimes when defending field in M16 shooting at con vulching field and some friendly plane just pases in front but nothing fatal so far...

But 35 deaths due to killshooter in single tour? What?! This is really possible? I dont think so (unless its some guy who takes off the field and then strafes friendly planes taking off - dies on KS - takes off again - cycle repeats (I have seen so many of such ppl in last few weeks)). OK I must say that if I see such a person shooting at friendlies and no enemy is currently near I take a plane and start to buzz him... Almost always he opens fire... and BOOM :D

Yeah KS fishing can be fun..

Once there was a guy who kept taxi'ing around the field shooting like nuts in his 190..

I took my M16 and parked it in front of his nose..

Its not quite historicaly correct and I like the Air Warrior fix for that one better.2 friendly kills in 24 hours and you were persona non grata for a 24 hour period..If your killing yourself that much you need to maby check around a bit more.
The Flying Circus. Were just like you.Only prettier.

DrDea hmm so you are behind a plane waiting to take the shot and in the second you push the trigger some unlimited E stupid guy with alt advantage decides to zoom the guy you are chasing and you kill yourself (and even better are those who fly 'through' your plane from behind)... It happens to you twice in a day and you end up banned for 24 hours? Because of that sucker who dived in front of you? Well Il better stick to the KS we have now...

Not even talking about the possibility to abuse it to get rid of someone for 24 hours...
