? i have DL this 3 times now with DAP (getting about 150 KB a sec with it from the site) and it still doesnt work... any one that CAN play it yet? j/w, and any one have this problem also?

That error is bad news.  It means that the file it is trying to patch is not exactly what it expects to find.  This is almost always caused by one of two things.  Either you have a virus or a hard drive error.  I'd recommend running a virus scan and disk scan.  After that, you can only get the update by either downloading the full version or if you still have the downloads of previous versions that can still get you up to 1.08 patch 6, you can install those again before installing the 1.09 patch.

I had this problem too.

By default, this particular install is going to the terrains folder.. no matter where you point it. The fix is to delete the /terrains in the install path and it will update the game as normal.

Good point SW.  Be sure to double check that the installation directory is the correct one.

I had the same problem. As SW said, it was trying to install to the wrong directory, I just had to point it in the right direction and it worked.
