can you give us an indication of the extent of migration that will be required to convert existing terrains to work under the upcoming Terrain Editor?
clearly the map size is changing, and the new strat system will require most existing country-owned objects to be zone-owned, and there will be something to define a field as being a primary field... but will there be substantial changes (file formats etc) beyond that? if so, will there be a conversion utility or something?
i'm trying to get a handle on whether it's worthwhile developing a terrain in the existing TE, to be converted to the new TE.
(also, i'm working on a plan for a terrain with 216 fields.... is that likely to be OK with the new object limit?)
