rear view in planes
« on: June 01, 2002, 02:50:50 PM »
dunno about u guys but the rear views in most planes aren't too good i know about the moving forward in the cockpit then moving up to get the best view but sometimes that isn't enough for me(spitfires come to mind immediately) i'd also like to see around the seat and not just from 1 side only but from both sides. wondered if it were possible to do this or if it doesn't really matter...any tips/suggestions/comments?

my solution -

hold down '2' on num pad to look back, press arrow key (the ones below 'insert'/'delete' etc) to move your head left or right, hold down, then F10 to save head position.  gives a little bit better view of your six.
all you fascists, you're bound to lose...

Kaz... we already have some real twisty neck views...  Asking to be able to see behind both sides at the same time....?  or are u asking for 2 6 views? one over each side.

As it is now the views all overlap.  Your back right view and your back left view don't leave much of a blind spot behind u

Look aft, kick the rudder.  Works well, just like in real life.  :)
