Soviet:
  It has been submitted to HTC to be a MA terrain.  Hopefully you'll be able to fly it when 1.10 comes out.


Cajun:
  I did those tiles using Adobe Photoshop.  They're nothing fancy but adequate.  AKNuttz is the acknowledged expert on texture tile making.  I bet if you begged him real nice over on the Terrain Editor Forum or promised to get him drunk at the CON he might post some tutorials on texture making.  :)
