How come on the Destroyers you can only man the 20mm AA guns? In a book I'm reading "Joining the War at Sea", the author mentions that the 5"/38cal Dual Purpose (thats what they were called) main gun was possibly the best weapon America produced during the war. So how come we can't man the main guns of a Destroyer?

The same reason as why we can't drive the destroyers. Its not programmed that way.

Manable 20mm AA on Destroyers are a BONUS

Why are we able to use the small cannon on the CV and the huge guns on the Cruiser then Robsan?

What robsan is saying is this:

HTC is a total of 7 employees. This sim is called "Aces High", meaning, they focus on ATA combat. Anything else in the game, GV's, CV guns, Field guns, Shore batteries, are just an added bonus. "Flight Sim First" is their motto, anything else is just icing on the cake.

Most folks would rather see them upgrade, add things related to WW2 Air combat, than spend their valuable time taking care of little things like Escort guns, however, when the priorities of the air combat run low, then yes, work on the "not so important" stuff in the future.

They are 5" 38 cal guns in the turrents.
If they were all manable the anti aircraft capablility of the fleet would be 8 times more powerful. If they 1/2 manned the ack of the fleet would be 4 times more powerful. Why would HT do that?

Pretty amazing when you think about. I wish I could get back all the money I spent paying $2/hour to WB for all those years and give it to HTC. Imagine what they could do with 10 employees or 20 employees?
