This may be irrelivant, but i was wondering what the changes to the wind were yesterday when you loaded the new map? did it effect anything, or was it just something you forgot to change till the last minute?
Just interested in knowin, thx

There appears to be a wind layer at 2000/2500ft. Makes attack sorties real interesting. JABO'ed a V base this morning and it took a hard stomp on the rudder to stay on target when the wind slammed me just before weapon release.

wind is in fact at 2000-2500 ft. had to adjust drop on moving gvs such as m16s. there speed and wind makes umm tough target.
was originally pissed i had 5 gvs piled together at a5 calling my 500kg. wind layer pushed me off target and only got 2 outa 5.......
ended with a 7 kill sortie in a 190f8 but it coulda been 10
any way adjusted to drop at 3k and now begin my dive at 12k rather then 9 to ensure straight solid aim on release.
wind layers suk tho
