CH Combat Stick USB oddity
« on: August 10, 2002, 09:14:54 PM »
I just noticed this, tho it might've been this way since I got the stick.

When I move the stick in the Y axis, the deflection the computer sees goes to full before the stick physically hits its deflection limits. So almost 1/2 of the stick travel is wasted. It doesn't change if I calibrate.

So when the stick is centered, the calibration screen is showing 128 (raw data). When I pull hte stick back, it goes up to 254 or some such, but theres still another 1" or so of stick travel that does nothing on the screen. Same thing for movin the stick forward. It goes to 0 before the stick hits its limit.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem or if its something wrong with the stick.

Ailerons (X axis) works fine. I have movement on the screen from full deflection to full decflection.
