Wahoo!! I made one!

AAR  is as follows:

took off
flew up
dove down
twisted
turned
flopped
rolled
spun
snuck an assist in there somewhere when I accidentaly fired my guns as the stick was about to fall of the desk
recovered
headed north
headed south
HO'd an F6F
He died first - My trigger was bigger.

Can't wait for the next one!!

I had a great time!

*THAT'S* what I'm here for.  That fight was immersive as hell!

No matter that I didn't even get an assist (I did get some shots into a couple).  I enjoyed that 40 minutes more than all the rest of the time I've played AH combined.

I didn't even make it home.  After the first big clash died down, I ended up with an F6 high above me (thanks for the 6 calls guys), several friendlies around, but no one in a position to help.  The F6 got a snapshot on me when I was trying to avoid a headon and took out the engine and much more.  Thankfully, friendlies managed to get him off me, and I tried to make the carrier.  I flew on for quite a while, but my luck didn't hold, and the engine quit.  It was either ditch or bail, and since I unmapped the bail key, it was ditch.  My kite was too beat up, and I didn't live through the landing

I can't say I'm looking forward to next Friday, because I can't make it, but the Friday after that, I'll be back!
