Just to make sure I understand... I'm a dweeb if I do any of the following:

1. Fly the F4U-1C
2. Fly the NiK-2
3. Fly the La-7
4. Fly the FW-190D9
5. Fly the P-51D
6. Shoot chutes
7. Attack with an energy advantage and retain that advantage throughout the encounter
8. BnZ rather than TnB
9. Make 6 calls from the chute
10. Make 6 calls from a GV
11. Run for ack
12. Fly off the map
13. Agree with Lazs (no offense intended)
14. Enjoy playing Quake

Am I missing anything that would negate my attempt at becoming uber... oops... add one more to the list.

15. Attempt to be uber

There... anything else?

:P

That about covers it. Be sure to check with TOWD though - he might have a few more things that would make you a dweeb

He forgot the biggest cause of dweebery--

You're a dweeb if you shoot somebody down.

1,2,9,11 and 12 qualify in my book.

13 is illegal in most civilized countries.

14 is good just as long as you dont bunny hop in your flakwagon to evade incoming fire.

We are all dweebs and have fallen short of the grace of being über.

You're conflating several situations:

With the Chawg and the N1k, you have two problems: one you've got a dweeb taking advantage of the unrealistic advantages these A/C have in the arena. Two, you've got a dweeb whining about it.
My personal rule of conduct is don't call anybody a dweeb for their UFO plane selection unless they call you a dweeb for not (in the case of the N1K2) turning with them or not (in the case of the C-hawg) getting anywhere near their guns.

As for the La-7, Runstang and Hunstang, and points 7 and 8 in general, that's easier.  When you're in an unterplane, you need every trick in your arsenal to sucker the other guy into a fight.  When I fly the 205, my most powerful weapon is to piss the other guy off enough to make slow him down.  If someone's calling you names and you're motoring away, it should be obvious that what you have is not an insult per se, but rather a tactical taunt.

As you can see, N1Ks and Chawgs should not deploy the tactical taunt.

13 is downright foolish. 14 is fine, as long as you keep the railgun off your n1k.
9 and 10 are praiseworthy.  This is the MA, not WWII.
6 is strategically advisable as there are persons here who lose all color of reason when they're shot out of their chute.  An irrational adversary is better tamed.  So chute shooting is a vital part of the AH strat model.

12 depends on your definition of map.

15 is in itself the high mark of dweebdom.  We are all dweebs, etc.

Offmap flying is gamey cheating, not dweebery

I've said it before and I reiterae; if I see some countrymen doing it, I'll secretly reveal it to the other side, or, if I think the cheaters are worthy of a warning, proudly announce their position on ch1, amending a <snicker> to the text

Whats up with flying off map?
If someone is enough crazy to fly all around the corners, then let him be that crazy...
Currently sneaking is impossibility in AH, when theres 25 mile grids.
You can see aircraft from about 9k fairly easy and if you go sit in the middle of the grid... well.. go figure.
so much for the surprise.. and of course they also know where someone is going in each grid because those are so small.

hmm, so.. I'd accept sneak bomb raids going around the corners, due to it being impossible otherwise and this takes whooole lot of time.
