Understanding You and Your Fellow Pilots - Part 2

Personally I don't much care for categorys.

I think they are entirely too simplistic, and lead to labels.

Once you can label something, stick a name on it & make it stick. It becomes easy to denegrate that something in your head.

"Ohh he's just a SPIT dweeb"

There is only one label we need.

We who fly online flight sims are indeed dweebs.  In that much DTango I agree completely.

However every time you CALL someone a dweeb, you just reminded everyone else in the the arena that YOU are one too!

And probably a bigger dweeb than the guy you just called dweeb.

Nothing beats hanging out with a bunch of guys who truely understand you.
Though we all may have differences, I remind you that we all have SO much more in common.

Call me the Philosophical yak dweeb  :)

LOL xbarrelx - well if collisions were fixed maybe I would be flying! ;)

I wrote this thing almost 2 years ago.  Just trying to use a little humor to bring levity to the board as well as maybe even help us all have a little more understanding for our fellow pilots.
