DO NOT use any of the new objects in the Terrain Editor.  They will not work until the next release/patch of Aces High and may change.

Skuzzy, I assume we can toy with them and create terrains with them but not use them in AH yet ?

still, those are great ideas Nuttz.

hey, I have a question.
you posted once about how you made available some 'other' water tiles besides grass.

can you explain what you mean/ how that works ?

If you make the EDGES of the farm and grass tiles to be EXACTLY the same you can use them both to tile against the water. However, not to come across as a "knowitall " but this is advanced TE stuff, this is NOT a simple task to complete, it's really easy to get the edges of the tiles to be the same, but you must lay out alot of a single tile to check there is no Moire' ( repetiveness pattern that makes the landscape look like a quilt) once you can alter both tiles so they don't have a "pattern" then use can use them both to tile against water. It really does break up the sterility of the coast line. I did this in Tunisia and Perdonnia map ( both can be DL'ed off the main web page of HTC.

ANY or all tiles can be made to do this. I have a problem with Snow tile having a white ledging edge one one side for some odd reason, so i suggest you not use snow to do this.

Variations: use water as water and grass as shallow water. I did this way back when the TE was first released ( before HTC added Terr0018,19,20) Drawbacks are GV's can enter the shallow water for 1 mile:(

Opps, forgot to tell you...
You can use this same information so more than Grassyrock can tile against Snow:)
