Axis need the C47
« on: October 15, 2002, 10:26:17 PM »
The axis need the c47 enabled for this weeks setup.  As it stands now, they have no practical means or retaking fields that are lost and no practical means to resupply a fields under attack.  The only troop or supply options open are to drive an m3 the 25+ miles to the nearest field (no remote spawns).  I asume this was done to keep the axis on the defensive and prevent them from taking fields in England.  But still it would be nice to at least be able to defend or retake the territory lost in Norway to the allies.

Even if troops were not allowed it is not very accurate to not have c-47 for resupply, i mean im sure the axis had ju 52 transports in norway. Axis desperately needs resupply capability.
Is there a way to disable troop drops but still allow cargo ? Anyway hope something can be done , other that this point i like this setup and the terrain is great.

Salute

Ok, I have enabled the C-47 out of the furthest south Knight base A-20.  (Oslo)

I really don't want to give them much more capability.

By this time the Germans were strictly on the defensive in the peripheral areas they held such as Norway.  They would have very limited Ju52 capacity.  Most of the Ju52 fleet had been destroyed in the two resupply debacles of Stalingrad and Tunisia.

Yep good map, had fun last night at 19 too.  The lack of c47s does make capture hard on all sides.  It really took some luck and planning to get a fleet and carrier in the right place at the right time, and to keep them alive.
