Deleted/canceled account CANNOT be reactivated ?

PLEASE READ THIS HiTech and be so kind to

I canceled my account moth ago cuz I just did not had time to play. Now I wanted back into action, but I cant subscribe with my old
ID. in the billing policy a rule say "deleted accounts CANNOT be reactivated.
You need to make a new account"   WHAT ????
WHY ????
of course I cant use my old handle AND I had
a full squad there !!! so why cant I get back
with my old handle and squad name. I Am the leader, hell !!
I just cant any reason to punish ppl canceling their accounts to take a brake.
I dod that many times with different games
WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
Please think about it and change that ridiculous rule, ok? Cuz now I have to make
multiple accounds with ,ultiple login names
when I cancel again, and want to play again in the future.

I don't know how the machinery works... but... I think definitely they can't *hold* an old handle waiting for someone to come back. However, it sure would be nice to be able to use your handle again if it's currently not in use by anyone else. I know Bash.. er.. I mean Bash2 is having this same problem.

Have heard of this many times from many people.  I have been in and out of the country for the last 8 months and cancelled my account for that reason.  I will be returning soon and was going to reactivate my account.  Now I hear that my old handle can't be used by me or anyone else...seems odd.   I'd like to hear an explanation as well.....

The thing to do now is go to a Free H2H status in which account is still open but not active for main arena.

cant do , Indian.

because the thing is, it wont let me log in
with the ID, saying invalid password. When I do a "resend password" I get my old password sent to my email adress, but when I try to log in, it says > this account has been deleted. Other problem is, I changed my mail adress but cany update it cuz I cany log in with my ID. My handle is NOT taken cuz it belongs to that ID, which seems to be not
usable by anyone now.

I've been trying to get an answer to this question as well. How exactly do you "go to a Free H2H status"? I've sent a couple of emails to HTC, but have not received a response yet. I know this is important to many people here as we are all very attached to our handles and I'd hate to think I will need to pay $30/month to keep it when I'm not really able to fly that much.

From what I understand you just take your CC info off the admin page, have you tried useing that page on this web site yet.

Yes, I've tried to use the Admin page, but there is no option to clear the Credit Card number. The form will not accept blank fields.

HTC Will not reserve ID's for nonused or deleted accounts.

There is currently missing from our database a system that upon a deletion of an account, the game ID will also be deleted and made available on a first come first serve basis.

We also will be implementing the periodic deletion of game ID's on unused free accounts.

These 2 items will be added in the future.

second, if I understood it right, I gotta wait a bit, then I can use my old ID (cuz it was deleted for real) and if I am lucky and my handle is not taken, I also get my handle back.....so as a result >

is gone and so the squad name I made.
dang....I loved that squad name !!!
not to mention I was 2nd after "Richthofen"
who got a full 32 man squad.
So dont dare and take it
