UmmmI got 18 Discos in Tour 4...you can bet that at least 15 were in Fw190

Ok RAM if your gonna start adding up stats like that, then you need to subtract] one of those Fw190A8 kills   you got when I disco'd and you just happened to be the closest enemy to me and got the kill award, even though I was like D3.0k from you, undamaged, and extending away  

18 Discos?? Damn that comes out to 9 deaths !! I think I would be finding a new ISP.

It's fixed.  

Some interesting changes I noticed:
A. Rooks got the highest p51 k/d.
B. Rooks are the masters of the Spit IX
C. Knights are actually the most survivable bombers
D. JG2 is awesome.  
E. This is just scary: "R, F4u-1c, 4348, 2038, 2.133" & "R, F4u-1d, 311, 361, 0.861"

Tour 4: Camo has 150 kills and has been killed 89 times in the Bf 109G-2.  (K/D 1.69)

That's 44% of the bishops' G-2 kills, 27% of the deaths.  That's also 24% of ALL G-2 kills, 12% of all deaths.  

The K/D differences between the countries are quite significant.  Also, it seems like the finns (mostly bish) and JG2 (knit) are almost the only ones flying the G-2.  But the finns seem do it a lot better.

Here's some more observations:

I summed the kills and deaths of the buffs, per country:

Based on these sums, the bishops seem to fly more bomber sorties than rooks or knights.  By a long margin, I would say. Any theories why?

The rooks tend to prefer the B17, whereas the bishops and knights fly both bomber types quite evenly. <edit> Beefcake?   </edit>

The bishops and knights fly more goonie runs than rooks.  However, the bishops have astoundingly few kills in the C47 compared to other countries.  Any theories why?

Anyone notice how poorly the M16 is doing?

The M16 must not be able to be used in the role it was intended or it is much to easy to kill.  Possible 1.03 will help out this "Red Haired Step Child".  

What role has the C.202 been used for?  It has a very dismal performance in Tour 4.

Minotaur,

the Macchi C.202 is a 1941-42 kite, with light armament. Should be used against Hurricanes I-II, Spitfire MkII-V and P40 (in North Africa she performed quite well). This is the main problem of a mixed-era-aircraft arena.

I think with 1.03's introduction of the APC's, the role of the M16 will probably become a lot more important.

I can see base captures now using a frontline of Panzers knocking down field instalations, with a group of M16's in an escort role protecting an APC or two. Should be fun.

...er... to kill them, that is

c202 was used till the end of the war!

The problem of the c202 are the incredible inefficient ammo.
I have used the c202 against a lot of fighters in MA and is capable to kill any plane. I remember a series of duels whit a brave and skilled spitIX pilot in MA and i won 90% of the engagements. I disengaged and lived whit 1 kill in a 3 vs 1 in my c202.

The big and incomprensible problem is that u need to fire for about 5 seconds (to be confirmed) before get the kill.
I need to make 4 - 5 pass on a fighter and fire from a short distance to get the kill.
Most of the engagement whit my c202 ends whit 1 kill and 5 assist.

I know that these 12.5 mm are not the same of the german or english, but i sincerely doubt that they cant do damage when u fire from 200y for about 2 sec.

Think whit v1.03 F4UC will be "fixed", waiting for the Breda 12.5mm .


Gatt the problem are the ammo not the plane u fight. Try to fly whit that bird and u will discover that things that kill c202 in MA are poor SA and his ammo.


PS: F4UC is a delicate argument: I LOVE F4UC   !!
