Looking for AH Gunfilm from Luftwaffe Perspective
« on: June 06, 2000, 10:24:00 AM »
Good day, folks.  I'm producing a short Aces High video, and need some guncam film from a Luftwaffe perspective.  Specifically, I need one that chronicles an all-Luftwaffe mission, preferably one where you're attacking a B-17 formation.  It would be great if it showed your take-off, form-up, and attack, but what I need most is the attack/combat footage. Please e-mail them in a .zip format, and please try to keep the total size of the e-mail to 2 MB or less.

I'm not at liberty at this time to say exactly who and what this video is for; however, suffice it to say it could have a significant impact on the future of internet flight sims in general, and on AH in particular.  Some very "interesting" people will be viewing it.  Thanks.

Rojo,(Sabre)
I will repost this in the JG2 BB and see if anyone has filmed our slayings in the last 3 SEA scenarios, I'm pretty sure someone has video of the carnage we sowed.  Kirin comes to mind, I have a short film, but, as the FL of attacking LW aircraft, all the buffs guns trained on me as we entered the bomber stream, so, needless to say my film is quite short!

Rojo, I think we can set up a time this week end where SFRT can fly 4-5 buffs (or anyone willing to join Bishs in B17 for this fligth).
We will give our position, fly around 15k and let 'your figs' attack us. You record the whole show and u have what u need.

how's that? Let me know.

Rip: Thanks.

Frenchy: The offer is most generous.  Let's give it a day and see if Ripsnort comes up with anything from the SEA scenarios. Failing that, we can fall back on "plan-B" and film a new one.  Thanks.

Rojo,

I've got a good film of me in a 190 fighting agains 2 spits and a p38.  But it wasn't from the SEA, and I think there's an n1k at the beginning of the film.  But it's a good 2v1 that turned into a 3v1 that I won

Click on my signature and go to the assassins homepage. Go to hblairs gunfilms and click on the first scenario clip. It is me killing 3 B26's and 2 spits in one sortie in the first frame of BUSC's North Africa Scenario.

Just so happens i was flying a 190 when i came across a small formation of 4 or 5 b17s a few nights ago. I had started the film on the 1st attack and ran it till i glided back to my field with empty tanks. After killing 4 b17s i ran into a hi N1K2,fuel ran out at the end of that engagment. Was a fun sortie as i dont fly the 190 much.

Im at work now,but will send it to you when i get home from work. N1K2 was tough and i only got an assist

Dog out.......

Lentolaivue 34 had a little historical 2vs5 with 5 GIAP, two 109 G-2's vs five LA-5FN's in H2H. We flew it without icons, of course.    Both sides scored 2 kills.

Here's my film:  http://www.hut.fi/u/vpitkane/LLv34/34vs5/34vs5.zip

Here's Snefens' film:  http://home14.inet.tele.dk/snefens/duel1.zip

There's not much stuff on the text buffer, we were on RW.

To get a look from the other side, here's Leonid's film:  http://www.oz.net/~guerrero/download/leonid.zip   I hope he's not too upset for me posting the link!

Ripsnort: Any word on those SEA guncam films? Anyone have any of the scenario footage showing the LW beating up the USAAF?
