converter for old terrains?
« on: November 12, 2002, 10:23:26 AM »
Hi

i have some old terrains on my HD which are not recognized anymore by AH. I think the format changed.

Does someone know how to convert them?

Thank you

All new map can be download by live update, when they are used on any arena. Part of terrains /updated/ is avilible on download.

thx, but those terrains were self-made, and i canīt update them myself obviously.

I canīt select them from the terrain menu in offline mode for example, they donīt even show up

i think i know what he's asking

the answer is no, you can't directly import a terrain from an old version of AH, but any that are in your AH dir are automaticly updated os that the current version can use them.

At least thats how i think it works....

ok i found the problem cause.

AH seems to be case sensitive, if you copy an old terrain in your folder that has a big first letter it wonīt be recognized. Changing it to lower case will solve the problem.
