i need some help with the terrain editor

i dont know how to use the terrain editor and the directions uder help aren't helping me much.  Is there someone who can explain it in a simpler way that i can understand?

Try looking in the Terrain Editor forum (there is one).  There is a lot of good information in there, and I agree, the Terrain Editor can be quite daunting to start with.
