An interesting thought crossed my mind..

 If the sun can be skinned,

 though we may not be able to tinker with its lighting effects,

 would it not be possible to redo the sun with VERY VERY bright

 white so looking at it is very uncomfortable - in effect, sort of
 
 simulating the effect of the sun??
