oh... approximately 3 weeks ago, except now you have different terrain and the addition of the spit5 and 109f.

:D

what's with the fixation of early war setups?  what's wrong with a little late '44 action?

ponys, jugs, 38's fw's 109g10's...

hmmm?

PTO will suffer til more japanese planes are modeled.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

"what's with the fixation of early war setups? what's wrong with a little late '44 action? "

My guess is because that's what the MA is full of.   Common MA planes seem to be looked down upon by the "pure CT goers".

Regardless of what thoughts are in their head, it's their playpen for now and they'll do what they want.

But I'll be nice and shut up rather than speak some truths.  I'll let the numbers do the talking for me  :)

I really like this setup..But can you perhaps turn off the flak over malta?..My framerates are unplayable and for gameplay it's maybe not that important.

Agreed.  Don't know if it's the ack or the number of bases clustered together, but Malta is a black hole for frame rates.

Who are the "pure CT goers"?
What makes you think CT goers have a say in anything?

Slash27..lol, I guess I was one, it was because of me (so I was told) that the last two day PTO set-up was canceled....lol

Actually, late war was IJA "Nick" time and would have been nice, but the the allies cry about it...yet another frustration I incountered in the CT because it wasnt "Historical".

Three months of flying CT I think I flew the Nick in one set-up. (allies cried "Push it back to rear bases, its not Historical").

Flew the KI61 for two sorties last night. Died on first and two kills on the second. May have flown it once or twice three months ago when the Nick was pushed back to rear bases.

All other "Fighter" sorties have mainly been A6M2, A6M5,that one 202 set-up and whatever ten million sorties in LW planes. hint hint

both, probably, especially if the ack is going off around them clustered bases.
just like the english coast in BoB, made worse by the "eye-candy but worthless" cities that are scattered amongst the crowded bases.

it'd be cool if we ever got a "Nick"  but i think the me-110g would be a suitable substitue skinned with IJA colors.

i think you mean the N1K2, aka Niki, aka "George."

;)

Come on Hawk, quit being a "Ninnie".

Come on over and join the "Checkertails." We will fly Warhawks, Juggs & Ponys during the ETO scenarios and Japanese to help out during the PTO's.
