Secret logs

Why do we have to wait days to be able to acces any event logs?
Would it be possible to automaticaly post them "raw" on some page that everyone can acces?
I don't see what the big deal would be, and it would ease the AAr I provide to my squadron about "how it went for us".

Cheers

The logs used to be accessable at this link http://www.hitechcreations.com/cgi-bin/cms/cms.pl

I used to use microsoft excell to extrapolate it into somthing usefull (who killed how many, who killed who, how much damage did  my squad make, etc..)   and distribute to my squad after the event.  But this link no longer works. Evidently the parser logs have been moved. I would love to know where so I can continue to provide that service to my squadmates.

So, where can I access this data?

thx

From the start they were not meant for public consumption. HTC made that quite clear to the CM's when we were given this tool for our events about 2 years ago.  Ronni told us specifically not to give this out.

Certainly parts of the logs players could viewed by the community with little or no consequence. This is especially true of the Snapshots and TOD’s. For our Scenarios some of the information in the logs that would detail losses and would effect the numbers of following frames would have to be kept under lock and key.

The URL was changed because it had become so “public”.  In the future what HTC does with the logs and how they choose to give access is up to them.  That is not our call as CM's.
