the freemasons were an antimonarchist society populated mostly by merchants. that being the case in europe its membership list had to remain somewhat secret, but the group itself was no so secret and many of it's member were quite out in open about their membership & feelings.  Mozart was a freemason & his opera "The Magic Flute" was (as well as being arguably the finest opera ever published) blatant freemason propagnada.
freemasonry in america is not so much of a secret society, it is just a private club with membership restricted to people of a certain character

Any info on the "alleged" relationship between the freemasons, the Illuminati and the CFR?

them guys who ride motorscooters and wear funny hats in parades are masons/shriners.

at one time in england they had to be secret because it was treason to be a mason ( death sentence ), but now they wear masonic rings , put masonic signs on their cars and wear funny hats in parades.

many signers of the declaration of independence were masons.

no , i am not a mason

The Catholic Church isn't too keen on the masons...and neither was Hitler.

Thats 2 on the plus side for the masons.

Hadn't you heard? The USA is one giant Masonic conspiracy! Just check out the pyramid/eye symbol on the back of your dollar bills: that's an Masonic symbol, which was also associated with the Illuminati (or rather *is* as the whole suppression thing was a sham).

Fight the system!

The masons call god "Jablulon".

The Scottish Rite involves sheep, and that's all I'm saying.

If any of you get an invite to one of their meetings you should go. Masons are pretty cool actually. If your into religion, check out thier logo. The Bible to give your life principal the compass to give your life direction, the carpenters square to line up the edges of your life. I like that.

Many business and community leaders are Masons. You could get some work thrown your way.

Mostly very nice people.

our government was damn near all masons until an 'incident' changed public opinion about them. i remember reading about it somewhere - they waxed a guy for spilling secrets or something in the mid-1800s i think and the public got weary...

perhaps someone with a less 'stonerly' memory can help me out here - it's probably a good thing that it happened or they'd all be 'ring-knockers' now.

ps - my dad's a mason, has been for years and i've already reported you all to the enforcement unit muhahaha
